I know that absolute fairness and perfect ethics do not exist in this world. We can only pursue the highest possible standard of fairness and adhere to our ethical principles.Between 2023 and 2026, I operated on two major platforms that thoroughly implemented what I now call "algorithmic internet slavery." Before I even knew this term existed, I felt it in my bones: my team and I had become "slaves" to big-capital e-commerce monopolies. It was a life where I worked over 13 hours a day, day after day (though my employees worked standard hours). The platform's financial data was an absolute black box—you never truly knew how much money was transacted or how many items were sold daily. Worst of all, they masked the daily return rates and refund amounts. Trying to uncover the real numbers felt like navigating a complex maze designed to waste your time and keep you in the dark. Just like actual slaves, we exhausted ourselves until the end of the year, only to realize we barely had enough cash left to enjoy Christmas. Meanwhile, the platform owners held onto a massive chunk of our money—the so-called "security deposit." For a giant platform with millions of sellers, these deposits accumulate into billions of dollars, generating massive financial windfalls for them. Worse, that money is often unrecoverable; they have already set up traps to keep it.Driven by desperation, I finally Googled my experience and discovered the concept of "internet slavery." It matched my reality perfectly. The creators of these evil algorithms use their talent to exploit desperate sellers, capitalizing on a lack of legislation around these loopholes. More disturbingly, they weaponize the greed and malice inherent in a subset of consumers. While it doesn't represent everyone, it is ironic that as these consumers indulge in the platform-fed drug of "instant refunds without returns" and use every trick to get goods at the lowest cost, they are ultimately harming themselves. (This issue alone is worthy of a thesis, so I won't delve into it here.)An independent website is a space built by the seller. Under the grand framework of the law, a seller can govern their store using their own values and goodwill. As a consumer, you also have the ultimate golden safety net—your credit card company—so there is absolutely nothing to worry about.Returning to the simplest standards of fair and ethical trade, we commit to the following five principles:

Fair & Timely Wages: We pay our production staff a wage slightly higher than the local average hourly rate, disbursed promptly on a weekly basis.
Dignified Workspace: We maintain a comfortable, healthy working environment with proper, adequate rest periods.
Equal Respect for All: Whether you spend $20 or $500, we respect every customer and honor all reasonable return or exchange requests. We make every effort to ensure our customers suffer no financial loss.
Transparent & Honest Pricing: For ordinary handmade goods, our prices may only be 20% to 30% higher than those on "monopoly platforms." However, you get a real human being—not a robot—answering your questions and handling after-sales support. Our delivery times are just as fast, if not faster. Most importantly, every single package is personally packed and shipped by us with genuine care, rather than by angry, overworked warehouse laborers on a platform (in fact, we’ve noticed severe quality issues there—half of those platform packages are handled roughly and poorly).
Dignity in Conflict: If we encounter unfair treatment, friendly resolution is always our priority, but we will never compromise our dignity or waive our rights.

Our Commitment to Fair Trade & Return Policy

Our founder, Mr. Takemoto, is a staunch advocate for fair and ethical trade. We firmly stand against "internet exploitation/slavery" (a system that ultimately harms everyone, including consumers). If you are a buyer who routinely initiates refunds for arbitrary reasons without any regard for the seller’s legitimate interests, we reserve the right to refuse service.However, for our valued customers who share our commitment to fair trade, we offer the following transparent and equitable after-sales policy:1. Incorrect Items (Color/Size)If you receive the wrong item, color, or size, please contact us first. If the error is verified and we cannot reach a mutual compensation agreement, we will accept a full return and refund. We will cover the return shipping costs, and the return address will generally be located within your home country.2. Discretionary Returns ("Change of Mind")If you wish to return an item solely due to personal preferences—such as "I no longer need it," "it is smaller than expected," "I dislike the color," or "it looks cheap"—we accept return requests within 7 days of delivery. In these cases, you will be responsible for the return shipping fees.3. Shipping DelaysWhile delivery timelines can be affected by various external factors, if your shipment is severely delayed by more than 3 days beyond the estimated delivery window, we will issue a partial refund as an apology for the inconvenience.4. Eyewear & Custom Orders

Standard Reading Glasses: Fully covered under the standard policy outlined above.
Custom Prescription Lenses: Returns and refunds must be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Because these lenses are custom-made to your unique prescription, they cannot be resold.

When will I get my order?

1.USPS to USA, 5-7 days.

Who makes these kiss lock bags?

In the early stages, custom eyewear designer and artisan Takemoto H.
explored various crafting techniques due to his passion for
multi-disciplinary handcrafts. By chance, he began designing traditional
metal-frame kiss-lock bags. He initially crafted these calfskin and
lambskin evening clutches as complimentary gifts for female clients,
developing a proprietary artisan process. These gifts became highly
favored, prompting the collection to expand into jacquard and authentic
silk fabrics.The
main atelier of TAKEMOTO is located in a major metropolitan city, where
our high-end bespoke eyewear is engineered. However, in 2017, driven by
a regional poverty alleviation initiative, Takemoto H. traveled to a
remote mountain village and established a rural satellite workshop. To
spearhead local employment, he also established an international youth
hostel there.Since
most women in this village remain at home to care for the elderly and
children, yet possess highly skilled traditional textile techniques, he
mobilized a micro-artisan production team in 2025. Currently, 3 to 4
local craftswomen meticulously hand-construct these kiss-lock bags
during their spare time between agricultural duties and family care.We
previously utilized mass-market platforms to retail these collections.
While sales volumes were strong, the margins were severely compressed
under standard marketplace algorithms. To escape this structure, protect
artisan wages, and offer proper after-sales service, we established
this dedicated online store.Through
this platform, the sustainable kiss-lock collection serves as an
everyday companion alongside our premium daily reading glasses. Although
instructing these artisans required an immense amount of personal
energy from Takemoto H., it stands as a deeply meaningful endeavor.
Every purchase directly supports fair-trade principles and localized
community empowerment, verified under the global quality standards of
the TAKEMOTO framework.
